The chill in the air heralds snowy, shorter days ahead. But even though the sun may set earlier, the streets are still aglow with the twinkle of Christmas lights. Yes – it’s that magical time of year again!

Crazily enough, I start planning Christmas mini portrait sessions during the summer. Studio space is key, as being able to capture these moments for families with fur babies is super sweet. After doing a documentary photo session for a family with an elderly dog I really understand and appreciate how important it is to capture memories with pets. Choosing dates is also important as I know first-hand how crazy busy weekends are with kids!
