Time together is priceless.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve captured so many family photos (including this family!), but there is something so special about a more “everyday” family photo – it elevates the ordinary into a memory. It’s usually the “big” occasions that sees family gather. Makes sense, finding the time as schedules get busier (especially with grandkids!) can be tricky, but WOW was it a joy to spend time with this family for a studio photo session!

Capturing the dynamics of the kids as siblings, but also as cousins, was so cute. My favourite photos aren’t the ones where people are smiling at the camera, but rather when they’re looking at one another. Capturing those genuine interactions and smiles is everything.
